SOARing in North Dakota

North Dakota began participating with SOAR in 2010. SSA and DDS have approved the SOAR Process statewide and provided points of contact in each SSA district office and DDS Public Relations Officer (PRO). Expectations of Participation in SOAR

The North Dakota SOAR program focuses on individuals who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. The SOAR process can also be used to serve anyone in North Dakota who is eligible to apply for Social Security Disability benefits. Individuals may become eligible to utilize the SOAR model by completing the SOAR Online Course. North Dakota has phased out the in-person training, so please check out the SOAR Online Course

Prior to beginning the online curriculum, individuals are encouraged to contact the State Team Lead or SOAR TA Center to discuss their training needs and expectations.
